The Higher Spen team led by Justin Turner has extensive experience of the swimming and rehabilitation of horses.
We work closely with many vets and other equine professionals to provide specialist care and treatment to horses at various stages of recovery.
Since 2017, we have helped thousands of horses of all types and sizes to overcome a wide variety of injuries and illnesses.
We also work with many healthy horses, helping them to improve their condition, strength and fitness.
All the horses at Higher Spen, whether they are with us for a short term stay or on permanent livery, benefit from a highly personal and tailored care regime, catering for the individual needs of each horse.
Our team are highly capable and experienced in delivering care for horses with complex needs following injury and illness, and due to underlying health conditions.
